Custom 5000 series aluminum hollow profiles are available in 5052, 5056, 5083 and 5086 grades. Profiles can be extruded and further processed by CNC machining, cutting, drilling, milling, punching, bending, tapping, welding and assembly. Anodizing and powder coating are available for finished components. The size capability includes diameters from Φ3.2 to Φ220 mm, minimum thickness of 0.3 mm and maximum section size of approximately 250 × 100 mm.

Product Overview

5000 series aluminum hollow profiles are made-to-order sections available in 5052, 5056, 5083 and 5086 aluminum grades. Hollow geometry can be developed for structural, enclosure and fabricated-product applications where a closed section is required to reduce weight while maintaining the required profile form.

Profiles can be supplied as extruded sections or processed further through CNC machining, sawing, milling, punching, turning, tapping, chamfering, laser processing, welding, bending and assembly. Cold drawing, precise cutting and drilling are also available for parts that require tighter dimensional control or finished installation features.

Anodizing and powder coating can be applied to completed profiles. The combination of custom extrusion, fabrication and finishing supports components used in industrial equipment, enclosures, furniture, architectural systems, heat sinks, LED products, medical equipment and electrical products.
