5000 Series Aluminum hollow Profile
5000 series aluminum hollow profiles are made-to-order sections available in 5052, 5056, 5083 and 5086 aluminum grades. Hollow geometry can be developed for structural, enclosure and fabricated-product applications where a closed section is required to reduce weight while maintaining the required profile form.
Profiles can be supplied as extruded sections or processed further through CNC machining, sawing, milling, punching, turning, tapping, chamfering, laser processing, welding, bending and assembly. Cold drawing, precise cutting and drilling are also available for parts that require tighter dimensional control or finished installation features.
Anodizing and powder coating can be applied to completed profiles. The combination of custom extrusion, fabrication and finishing supports components used in industrial equipment, enclosures, furniture, architectural systems, heat sinks, LED products, medical equipment and electrical products.

5000 series hollow aluminum profiles can be used as structural or functional sections in products that require a closed, lightweight aluminum geometry and optional secondary fabrication.
Industrial equipment: hollow frame members, supports and fabricated machine components.
Aluminum enclosures: closed-section structures for equipment housings and protective assemblies.
Furniture and partitions: profile-based office furniture, partitions and interior structures.
Architectural systems: windows, doors, curtain-wall and ceiling profile components.
Heat sinks and LED products: custom extrusions used in thermal and lighting assemblies.
Medical and electrical equipment: fabricated aluminum parts requiring machining, finishing or assembly.
5052, 5056, 5083 and 5086 are available within Alumag's 5000 series material range, supporting different project-specific hollow profile requirements.
Profile dimensions and cross-sections can be developed according to customer drawings, with size capability extending to approximately 250 × 100 mm sections.
CNC machining, drilling, milling, punching, bending, tapping, welding and assembly can be added after extrusion.
Material, dimensional and appearance checks are combined with anodizing or powder coating when a finished profile is required.
Available grades include 5052, 5056, 5083 and 5086.
The available size capability includes Φ3.2–Φ220 mm diameter, minimum thickness of 0.3 mm and maximum section size of approximately 250 × 100 mm.
Yes. CNC machining, drilling, milling, punching, tapping, bending and other fabrication can be added.
Anodizing and powder coating are available for finished hollow profiles.
